Believe for Big Things Again

God wants us to believe for big things again.
I awoke from a dream this morning with the following words on my lips, “and his incomparably great power for us who believe.” This phrase comes from the following passage in Ephesians 1.
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1:17 - 21
I believe that disappointment and disillusionment has caused some of us to hunker down in our pursuit of God. Instead of advancing with Him in faith and hope, we have pulled back our prayers and expectations. We have chosen to live a safe "faith" life, focused on our felt needs and interpersonal relationships.
I felt challenged by the Lord this morning to believe again:
Believe that our glorious Father still does miracles, both big and small.
Pray again for healing miracles.
Fast for breakthrough.
Expect to see the lost saved and for those that have turned away from the Lord to find their way back home this year.
His power is incomparable for us who believe. INCOMPARABLE. Meaning, there is nothing like it. No political, religious, or financial system can even come close. And what makes this extra amazing to comprehend? It’s available for us who believe.
Do you feel like your faith has dwindled to a smoldering ember? Or, it’s gone out completely?

That’s not a problem for God. Invite His Holy Spirit to blow His breath into you again. What you’ve assumed as being too dry and desolate is the optimum fodder to birth a flame of faith.
Your whispered “yes” is all He needs. God will meet us.
God wants us to believe for big things again.
